Dang! 11 inch arm too!

they are looking at 1,700.00 pounds sterling..i haven't bothered to look at the exchange rate in a while..(my mum lives there,so i usually keep track of that)

Several people at the retreat I went to recently had the Jem Platinum 760. They love it. The LQS doesn't carry them, but orders them from a shop in PA. With shipping, they are $550 for the model shown on this site. At 349 British pounds (sorry, don't know how to make the symbol), it's $524, so pretty comprable.

I'm hoping to have one by next year's retreat!

cool, I was told that Janome was coming out with a small machine for quilters for retreats and light weight

calculated at us dollars is about $2600.00 give or take a few.
