Default The New Quilting Quickly magazine from F&P/Missouri Star is great!

Yesterday I picked up this new magazine (published by Fons & Porter) from Jenny Doan of Missouri Star Quilt Company, and I just love it! Lots of fabulous quilt designs for all skill levels. I also enjoyed the article about the history of Missouri Star and all the folks who run the company... quite interesting. It's priced at $9.99 but considering the number of projects (17) and all the other info in the magazine, it was well worth the cost, in my humble opinion.

It's a brand-new never-before-published magazine, and I'm not sure if this is just a one-time thing, or something that F&P will continue to publish on a regular basis (like they do with the seasonal Patrick Lose magazines). I found my copy at Jo-Ann Fabrics.

Just wanted to pop back in and mention that, in one of the articles in this magazine, they mention something which will be published in the upcoming summer issue... so I guess this will not be just a one-time deal, which is awesome.

Missouri Star is also making many of the designs in the issue available as kits. I'm sure their website has the info.

Looks interesting, I'll have to look for it next time I'm at the store. Thanks for the heads-up.

I will keep my eyes open for it but I don't think our Walmart will have it.

I shopped all the stores I thought would have it, to no avail!!! Came home and ordered it on line...had to pay SH, so made it a bit expensive, but I will have it. Glad to hear this is the first of more to come!
