Question New or used Bernina 770QE

I am looking for an upgrade from my Viking opal sewing machine. I am looking at a Bernina 770 QE. There is a new one and a used one. The new one cost $6500 and the used one is $3999 and has 9.23 million stitches used. I’m not sure if that’s a good deal or I should get the new one. any opinions?

Has the used one been serviced? I purchased a used Babylock that was a trade in & had been serviced. It lasted 10+ yrs. I was very happy with it until a part was discontinued & it could not be repaired. You can get a lot of fabric or classes for the difference in price.

I agree. If it’s been serviced regular and you have sewn on it . . .

With 10 million stitches, it has been used enough to have any bugs worked out of it and used price is very good for what the 770 QE can do. Does it have it's manual? I agree that if it's been serviced regularly or your dealer is close to offer classes as needed....
