DH and I went on another road trip and stopped at the Dutchman's General Store in Cantril, Iowa. Very reasonable prices on fabric. Next week they will have a BIG sidewalk sale Oct 3 - 6, 2012. Plus all their fabric left inside will be 10 percent off. Too bad we won't be any where near there.

Lots of good things for non-quilting friends/family to browse through while you shop away. DH found a beautiful harmonica for our oldest son's birthday. He spent more than I did!

I've shopped there several times.....it's small...but I'm never disappointed. I didn't realize they have a web site. Thanks for the info.

This really is a fun store to shop in. Don't forget to pick up some of their food to keep your strength up for purchasing fabrics. It's like stepping back in time.

I also have been there several times. My mom and I love going there. I also have been told that just a little ways from there is a nursery with some really pretty flowers and great prices. I intend on visiting it this spring.

The Dutchmen's Store is ...The very best place to go and shop.........
I was born and raised not far from there.....and soon as
I GET BACK HOME.... I head there pretty dang quick ...
and most of the time just before I head out for GEORGIA..
I have to go back one more time.............
