    I saw the tute, but I don'r see how large the octogon piece is. Only thing I saw was how wide the strips are , but not the octogone size. There are a couple of ladies asking the same question over there. Huggies, Fay

    They are 14 inches. The reason I didnt mention that is because it doesnt really matter,,yu can use whatever size octagon and steips yu choose. I was just showing the method.

    Thank you. I have some Christmas stuff I can applique' on some to make toppers for Christmas. I started one and I couldn't get a good size to fit the applique' Have a great day, Huggies, Fay

    oh I have been looking for how to make an octagon. Are you
    still sending the newspaper pattern? I looked it up on google and I think I could geometrically do it. Is this what you did?
