I stumbled across this site just a few minutes ago and thought immediately of ShellyQ and others who are paying horrendous prices down under. The Quilter's Stash ships internationally for one of two flat rates.

    http://www.thequiltersstash.com/shipping.asp

their prices are a much lower than a lot of sites i've seen. i haven't found anything yet more than $7.40 per yard, and some is on sale for $4 per yard.

just found another interesting site. higher prices

    http://fabricblowout.com/shippingandins.htm

and another with slightly higher prices

Thanks so much for thinking of us Patrice. have bookmarked those and will enjoy having a good ole fossic around. :P I like the flat rate mail cause then I can figure how much it is gonna cost per yard for shipping and then work out conversion rates etc. I haven't as yet actually ordered anything sucessfully from The States but I'm getting there, I'm a bit of a nervous nana

    Patrice, you are so thoughtful!

If I can put my two cents in, I like to see what's at 5BucksAYard.com because a lot of their fabric is $3.99 a yard or less.

Their International Rate is a flat $12 for up to 6 yards. That works out to a fair price, doesn't it? Especially if you make them stuff the box with all 6 yards!

Thanks Wendy will have a look at that one too. Best of all is if you save your pennies and make em stuff a flat rate box :P . Flat rate box holds 30 yards and is shipped for beteen $32 -$37 so is less per yard.
