Paper piecing tute, step-by-step
I found this a very helpful tute on how to paper piece a pattern. I would never think to put glue to hold down the pieces so they don't shift when sewing. You learn something new every single day in quilting.

I WISH I could quilt that fast! I have used the glue stick sparingly on PP but not glue. With the speed of the video, it was difficult to see if she was using the washable glue but she was very careful on her quantity she put down on the seam allowances. What I do before attaching the blocks together is to trim off the 1/4 seam allowance of paper first before sewing. That works for me.

I have learned many tips on my paper piecing on the 6" blocks I am working on. I love, love, love, paper piecing. Each different block I am working on right now is like a whole new little work of art, and like a puzzle as I go along putting it together with my piecing. I love this over any other type of sewing I have done.
