    Crafty, I must tell you...this was the very first home ec project that I made in 6th grade at School 76 at 30th, College, and Fall Creek Blvd. in Indy in the late 40's. It was a very popular item in those days and I think every girl (and most of the boys) made one for their first project. I haven't lived there since about 1961 but it seems to me that my sister told me that the school was closed...as is Shortridge High where I also majored in Home Ec.

    These would be great to make for craft sales. I've heard that inexpensive items sell well and these could be made for pennies. Thanks for the tutorial--I've bookmarked it.
