Since my goal this year is to use up scraps, I may have to do this one. I thought I saw an email that they were going to shut down planet patchwork.

OMG, I am such a sucker for mystery quilts. I have 7 or 8 quilts in progess, am losing count. But I printed the instructions just in case.

This looks interesting. I'm already planning to do a New Years Day mystery - I wonder if I'm crazy to consider doing 2?

I'm certainly going to try this one -- hope I have enough time to find all the fabrics and get them ready!! Thanks for the link!

I've never seen this mystery before. The directions seemed really clear and easy and if I understood correctly, you'll be finished the top in a day? That might be fun to do. I'm working on the Bonnie Hunter Celtic Solstice right now and there is a lot of cutting, sewing, pressing, cutting, sewing, pressing etc. Definitely not a quick mystery, so this might be a nice side track from that one.
You do finish the quilt top in a day. I can say that. New directions every hour for 6 hours and the best part is there usually is a chat that goes along with it.

I saw that email too. I did not know if they were going to have this and I'm super happy they are going to have it. I love these mysteries.

This may be a good idea. I have heard how you start the New Year is how you finish the new year. So if I could finish a quilt on the New Year perhaps I will continue finishing quilts throughout the year.

Sent you a pm. I think you need a total of 240 squares 2 7/8" and 120 of the 2 1/2" squares. If I read the directions correctly.
