When I first saw this, it inspired me to make a portable design board that would stand up next to my sewing machine. For some reason, I need to have my blocks "standing:" when they were lying next to the machine, I STILL managed to mess them up! Definitely not as cute as her's as I didn't put any cute fabric around the edges. But I did end up with two sides, so lay out two blocks at a time. (The one shown is from when I was working on Easy Street, so this must have been early this year. That quilt's done!) It's about 20" x 20" on each side. I use this as much as I use my wall design board. Love it! |
