This looks great. Maybe they will get them in stores or at quilt shows.

finger guards

Do they also help with your ruler not moving and with cutting straighter, i.e., your cutter not moving away from the ruler the direction opposite of the ruler as well?

Thanks so much for this lead. I just ordered the finger protectors.

Just bookmarked this site...going back later for further study. Looks like they have some very interesting stuff. Thanks!

I've used those L shaped stick on guards for years now. mainly on my long 24 inch ruler. but- i will say they only help if you cut on that side of the ruler!!! i forgot and turned the ruler one day and that of course was the wrong time to do that. i cut my thumb and nail badly. I never did that again. careful out there!

Now those look good!! I love that they are adjustable and the protector is tall enough to really protect. I don't like wearing gloves, as my hands get too hot.

I bought actually handles with suction cups you use in the tub. They suction to my ruler. Bought them at Lowes. Work great.

Hey! I just bought one of these. I think there's little chance of cutting accidents. It's a great cutting ruler! |
