It's great you use a safety tool when cutting. I have used every kind of safety tool and now I use the Quilter's Slidelock. It doesn't have to be attached to a ruler, works with all my rulers, and not a chance of my ruler hand ever being cut by my rotary hand. There are two sizes of the Slidelock. And it's perfect for those that can't put much pressure on a ruler while cutting. I use it on top of the ruler not instead of. I use the Gypsy small round ruler grip for small or odd shape rulers. I use the glove when doing fussy cutting. I don't pick up a rotary without a safety tool available. I learned my lesson the first cutting accident.

Hey! I just bought one of these. I think there's little chance of cutting accidents. It's a great cutting ruler! Don't you have to mark your cutting line first before cutting or do you use the lines on the cutting mat? I didn't see any measurement lines on those rulers. |
Great site. I just spent the last 15 minutes looking it over.
