Love your blocks Nzquilter. The Christmas theme fabric is really cute I think the scrappy look in place of B and C will look really neat when it all comes together.

Great job NZQuilter, I knew you would catch up quickly, and also like your Christmas fabrics! This is certainly not a stressful mystery quilt.
quiltsRFun, your blocks look perfect too! We are going to have a nice selection of different fabrics to see in this pattern when we are done! |
QuiltsRfun, I love your colors! I agree, I can't wait to see all the finished quilts either. This is so much fun:)
|
quiltsRFun, we must have been posting at the same time as I missed yours the first time. Your blocks are so adorable. The red against the cream is really popping beautifully!

Check at Quiltville.com. Bonnie has directions for making a 1/4 inch guide for any machine.

I cut mine large too. I had some short wings on my geese last year so I think it will work out better. I had to stretch them into my quilt top.
I have a 1/4" guide foot that makes my life so much easier, but she uses scant 1/4" in her designs. I used the Ideal Seam guide for getting the scant 1/4" last year but I hate it. I think that tool contributed to my wonky flock. I am just going to make everything 1/4" and and if it doesn't work out so be it. |
