Looks great but, I can't find room for a bigger surface than small dining table. I have the largest regular mat the stores sell. I pile fbrics extra at the top of the mat/table and everywhere else. I feel this is the largest I could use. Nice for others that have more room.

I cannot believe i never thought to do this, thank you for the tip

You gals have some great ideas for slipping mats. Why didn't my brain figure this out on its own? Geesh! Thanks for the advice!

rubbermaid makes a shelf liner that is a rubberized mesh. i haven't tried it under my mat, BUT i do use it under my sm for less noise and vibration, and under my foot pedal, and to open jars, and line my shelves. i also b ought some really cheaply to wrap some glasses i packed away. i will try it under my mat next. it's very handy stuff. if you have a slippery drinking glass and someone who has trouble in dropping things, this stuff makes a good drink holder, sewn in a tube and slid onto the tumbler ( doesn't have to be a glass).:Di'm not affiliated with the product, just use it alot.
