I guess in theory, you could keep adding bigger blocks and do a whole quilt top, couldn't you? Like...crib sized wouldn't be hard at all...

And I would think if you didn't want each block to get toooooooo big - you could use sashing between several of them, too. It definitely looks like a fun way! :-)

you can make blocks this way with a fussy cut center and then blenders...saw this at a quilt show...one of the LQS owners had their hubby demo it.
