Thanks for the heads up! I will have to tune in and see what the machine is like, but will probably stick with my real FW due to $$.

But don't forget. The new Singers are not made by Singer, and read all the comments by those who have bought new Singers recently. My repairman says to stay away from any new Singers since they were bought out by another company, that new ones are mostly junk.

ok, will try this again, so sick of having to key posts several times before they post.....where do they dissapear to????
I will buy a new machine when they bring back the ability to sew off of two spools of thread...when the lower thread is from a spool also.....would be great for a long arm and for a DSM......IMHO |

The new "retro" Singer is really just a Singer Curvy 8763 in a new dress. The Curvy is a basic machine...however I wouldn't pay over $200 for one. I much prefer my vintage Singers and other brands.
