    I've been told the only dumb question is the one you didn't ask.
    So my question: Did you do something to make the heart pop of the quilt or is it just the quilting?

    No dumb questions. None at all.

    I used a technique called trapunto. There are many on-line tutorials for it....there is an extra layer of batting in the heart ( actually two in this case). :thumbup:
