Somewhere - - I have one of all three of those rulers. I can't even tell you the one I actually pulled out to use, but since I didn't get to the project yet, I put it back on the board until I can get to it. It doesn't matter how fast the clues come out - - I always manage to have time to mess things up and have to start over organizing AGAIN! sometimes, I feel hopeless! LOL <wave>

I got 300 done-have done some with grid method and some with the ruler. Can't decide which is easier or faster. It is interesting that as everyone gets started doing the HSTs, the common opinion is -they go together faster than one expects, and 600 doesn't seem so overwhelming. Still have 25 string blocks left to do. And some Christmas shopping too......

300 done and my kids are 4 hours from being home (they have a 20 hour drive from CO. to IN.) . I have to clean my studio and put a mattress down for one to sleep. Maybe no sewing for a few days. :( Kids home for Christmas :)

Anyone know of a site where I can download 1.5" finsihed HST paper? I found this site www.quiltingandwhatnot.ca/pdf_files/oneonehalfinfinhst.pdf and they are completely off and wonky when I print them out. I prefer to do them on paper for accuracy and speed. I really want to avoid having to buy thangles for this.

You can buy a complete program called: Triangulations for HST and quarter square triangles measuring 3/4" (finished) to seven inches in 1/8" increments for about $30.
There have been a few sites who provided one size or the other of the grid, but why mess with sizes you don't want when you can have any size you need at such a reasonable price? The person who designed the Triangulations CD deserves our support and thanks.
    Hope this helps <wave>

speaking of which! For a nominal fee, you can download the whole system from the designing company! Talk about instant gratification! <wave>
