someone made pillow cases to go with that's that are just adorable....

I couldn't post a link for some reason. This person used the border for the pillow cases and pink (they had a pink quilt). I think I might give this a try!

I have only sent one other quilt to a longarmer, and found that I was not as fond of it as a result. Difficult decision as I think it will be difficult to do on my home machine due to its size and MANY seams.
A very attractive quilt! I am very impressed with the results you got and applaud your stepping out in the color families and creating such a good looking quilt top! <wave>

Maybe I'll like mine better once it's all assembled. But the red, pink, brown and green colors just aren't my favorites together.

I agree they aren't colors I would ever have chosen on my own, which makes it a good mystery for me. I am still not sure about them even though there are some gorgeous quilts that have been finished. On the yahoo group there were some with black strings which is interesting. There was one with purples and one with bright pinks that did really like.

Vicki, am I right that you picked blue and burgundy for your colors instead of red and green? If so, those are the very colors I'm going with so its nice to see a put-together quilt like that. I'm just getting started but I'm excited.

I finished one complete block this evening just to "see" if I'd like it better. Wow, oh wow did I have a lot of pinning and points to match up. Not a block for the faint of heart!

No, I used a red constant in the same places Bonnie used red, except I used it for the narrow border also. It is more of a dark brick red. I substituted blue and gold for pink and brown.
