I'm a newbie but I think this is a pretty good sale. It's Pellon Quilters Touch 100% siliconized polyester. For $29.99 you can buy a 20 yard x 60" wide roll. There's also a 15% coupon (valid today only) which worked for me plus it's free shipping. Supposedly this roll of batting is regularly $99.99.
Before purchasing I googled the batting name and found reviews of it on this very site. The reviews were mostly positive. There were also some reviews on the JAF site which were also mostly positive.
I make lap quilts for friends and family which are 60" x 44" approx. I figured I can get 16 lap quilts from this roll. For me it was a good buy. Thought you folks would like to know about it.

I know. I'm bummed too. I saw it on sale again for close to my purchase price a month or two later and almost bought a 2nd one but I didn't. It's way too expensive now. I'll post again if I see the price drop, I check every couple of weeks. Can you please do the same?

Darn, I hate to be a hoarder but I use batting all the time. This was a case of bad judgment on my part...
I'll watch it too, if it goes on sale, we can post and both take advantage of it.

Some people think it is too thin, but it works out great for me. I don't want too heavy of a batting since I don't send my quilts out. I need to watch the weight as to what I can handle on my little machines.

I live in Florida and am always looking for a lighter weight batting. That's why this sounds so attractive. I put it on my wish list for JAF. Maybe they will email me when it goes on sale next. Sometimes, they do.
