Scissor holder(s) free patterns
I am across this site and thought the scissor holders would make great small gifts for sewers/quilters - especially with Christmas rushing up!!!

Thank you for sharing, I like this pattern; I have yet another idea!
I picked up this scissors holder complete with the scissors at my local thrift store for $1.00. I thought what a great idea to use different colored potholders for your different scissors, and then hang them up by their loop for easy access in your sewing area. One color could be for everyday scissors, another for fabric shears, and another for pinking shears, etc. Certainly easy to make and what a nice gift idea! You could even get fancy and embroider them to mark what kind or what size scissors they are if you have several pair! You can purchase potholders or make your own!
