Scrap Dance Mystery Quilt
#12
Great! I did step 2 today. I'm very much enjoying how she has this one organized. I love that we cut everything at the beginning, so for each month we pick up some pieces and sew! One of the things I struggle with when doing a typical BOM is that each month you have to cut out just a few pieces often of different sizes and shapes. I always end up with a mess of chopped of fabric after awhile!

Loving all your progress.
I plan to do this but haven't started yet. I prefer to cut my fabric once I get the instructions so I can cut and sew triangles, etc. with the method and rulers I find work best for me.

I've been planning to do this mystery and I wanted to sew it with some gifted plaids, checks, and stripes scraps that have been lying about for years. It took a while to gather them together, they were scattered, and wash and iron them. This week I have done my cutting and steps 1 & 2. I'm excited about it and planning a queen size for my youngest son.

Looking wonderful Kristi! I look forward to seeing yours when it is done. I have downloaded the clues and hope to get started soon. I did her Scrap Dance Waltz and posted it. I love how it came out and can't wait to start this one.
