I love Bonnie Hunters scrap quilts. I have both of her books and visit her web page frequently. Lately I have been trimming my scraps and sorting them by size.

Another idea...my sister goes to yard sales, goodwill, salvation army and buys up old wool skirts. Tears them apart and makes wool quilts. Same way you do your shirt quilts. Puts a backing on them and wala! You have a very warm quilt!!

Thanks for the pattern site. I just love this quilt. I have a lot of flannel scraps and this would make a beautiful quilt. I will also have to start going to Goodwill. I can feel another addiction starting!! ha ha

I have been cutting up thrift store shirts for ages now it seems, getting fabric for the quilts for my grandbrats. Smiles. Working on the oranges now. Another way to get lots of fabric is in ladies cotton dusters. I found several with butterfly prints in just the pink, purple and turquoise shades my DGD requested. Now if I can just find some with birds. LOL...
