I have recently purchased a woman's 20 year collection of fabric a Craig's list thing. Some as you can imagine has been sitting for a while Fortunately it's excellently quality fabric and stored properly. But getting the wrinkles out has been a challenge indeed. This link had information that was new to this newbie, hope it helps someone else.

No, only plain water, let it set, smooth with hand, then iron. May have to do couple times.

I spray the dry fabric with wrinkle releaser and dry in dryer.

No vinegar, just spay with water and "the hard part" wait a few min. Than iron with your favorite spray starch. Smoothing out the fabric with your hand ahead of the iron works well too. You can go to Sew Very Easy you tube and subscribe.

I bought wrinkle releaser and had no luck with it at all. I'm going to try a damp washcloth in the dryer next time.

Spritz with water, roll up the mess, put in a sealed plastic bag, put in fridge overnite, should get the wrinkles out....maybe

I have great results with the wrinkle releaser. I use it on my backing so I won't have to iron it. I use the aerosol spray not the pump. The aerosol seems to be more heavy duty.

Back in the old days....ahhhh.....we sprinkled the cotton shirts, tablecloths, etc. with water, rolled them up, put in a plastic bag, stored the bag overnite in the refrigerator, and then "ironed" the next day with a dry iron. Steam irons came later. Do you recall using a soda pop bottle as the water container? The little sprinkler plug had cork on the stem to grip firmly inside the bottle neck.................. I also recall those old irons were h*e*a*v*y!!!

Wrinkle releaser you buy at the dollar store is the best or make your own. Put a few tbsps of fabric softener in a spray bottle with distilled water. Shake to mix and spray the crease, then iron.
