    Anna,

Anita Grossman Solomon, who developed the technique is a member of this quilting board. She had pointed out her method to me when I had needed advice on making a square in a square. I think she is brilliant!

Please help those outside the US who can't have access to HGTV. Is this

Can't wait to get one of your books. I am so glad I found the video you made online. I am thrilled you are a member on the board and posted to this thread. Thank you. I can't wait to learn more about your quilt techniques.

No. I advised against tape because it can get sliced into a zillion pieces and be difficult to remove.

I made the video six years ago with Alex Anderson and have since improved my technique. These days you needn't mark the rotary mat. I simplified the process with my Cutting Lines (TM) patterns.

I will appear as a guest in a forthcoming episode of Alex Anderson and Rick Tims' "The Quilt Show" http://www.thequiltshow.com/os/blog.php/blog_id/2985 where we demonstrate techniques from my newest book Rotary Cutting Revolution. The Square on Point is a very full chapter in the book as is the 'authentic' "Anita's Arrowhead" and several others.

    All my best,
    Anita
There is much information about my work including links to the videos on my blog:

What a great way to prepare the blocks! I especially love that the dog ears are cut off first so you don't have to deal with cutting them off later. Also having them off now makes the pieces line up easier. Thank you!
