here is a link that describes as well as any i have seen, the string piecing method. also has a gallery of some pretty spectacular string pieced quilts.

This is the one that I learned how to make a string quilt. I get her news

i also get the newsletter. i have found ABOUT to be a good source for information on a lot of different subjects. (also my soap opera :oops: :wink: :!:
