    I haven't mastered how to post a picture yet....DUH.[/quote]

Aaaaah! You can take a picture with your camera or phone. Then the cord plug end that comes with your phone or camera, plug the narrow end in to your phone or camera and the wider end into your computer. Turn the camera or phone on and wait for a little block to appear on your comp. screen. Mine says at this point: do you want to import and I click on the little block yes to import. It will send it to your file.

You get your post back up and click on brouse, then your file pops up and click on the file with that picture, click that picture, click open, it puts it on your post, click attach picture or send or what ever it says at that point and your picture will show right up. Give it a try!

I didn't notice if the tute said to, but I square off the bottom of the bag also. You have to get physical to turn it back right side out. When you put the tape in be sure it goes() not )( when the bag is right side out. I have also used 1" mini blind slats instead of the metal tape and like it fine but it doesn't have the SNAP of the metal tape. PM me if I missed anything. Oh yes, the tape can be cut with old scissors or shears and round off the sharp ends. And I make prarie points of lining fabric and sew them to the center of the outside as the casing is formed. You use these to open it.
I like the idea of Prairie Points. And also squaring off the bottom. Such clever ideas keep sprouting up on this site. :-)

At the AQS show in Knoxville last month I purchased a pattern for such a purse. Little did I know it was available on line for free. Oh well, I'd decided that the step DGDs 13 and 11 might like a small one. I will add a shoulder strap to them. I hereby commit to making them by the end of November. If not you may all nag me.

This is really neat. Thanks for the added tip to box the bottom.
