    I didn't know about a book.....more info please......these truly talented people should be more featured...in mags, show, etc.......I am still amazed at how primitively they produce such wonderfully awesome pieces.......

    their book is put out by the AQS American quilters society....look for their web on line....love the pictures of the guys quilts

    The work of these men is incredible. WOW!! I, too, wish they could get a lot more money for their talents.

    What really caught my ears about this old craft brought to mind Paul in the NT. Then found tent panels in the old tombs. We read in many places that Paul was a tentmaker and this is how he supported himself. The lady who did the explaining about the tentmaker's life related about the children who are becoming stitchers. They have a normal life, school, play and then stitching as a craft. I can only imagine this is what happened to Paul growing up. Just as we do in teaching our children to quilt.

    I am so glad this site was posted and if you look at it, along the right side there is another tape of these two men and the lady goes into a lot more detail about this fabulous craft.
