Yes, My husband wrote that. He's shamelessly trying to promote my blog. I just enjoy doing it.

It's sunny and 60 degrees here in beautiful Southern Utah 8) My friend is coming today from up north for three fun days of quilting. What could be better!

I'm going to make the Chocolate Banana Nut Bread, It looks YUMMY :) :) :)
I really like Bev's Kaffe fabric border paper pieced quilt. Do you know what the pattern is?

Hi -Thanks for commenting on my blog. Welcome! The quilt that Bev made is by Karen Stone. The pattern is called "An Unusual Lone Star". Bev took a class taught by Karen, and she made it smaller than the pattern. Let me know what you think of the chocolate banana bread. -Nedra

It's a great blog site! So home-like, I feel like I am there. I live in Delaware, too far for a visit.

Hi Jan- Glad you are enjoying my blog. I've never been to Delaware. But Mr. Cactus lived there for two years when he was in his early 20's. The desert here is very different than back East. There are days I really miss the trees. But I do appreciate the winters where we still can enjoy hiking, golf and many outdoor activities.
