Texas Quilt Retreat
A few weeks ago I had the privilege to attend a quilt retreat at Sunset Retreat, Sunset, TX. It was amazing. The accommodations were great, the work areas were some of the best I have seen and the food...well, that was a treat all in itself. It was absolutely wonderful.
I didn't get as much done as I planned but then I took way more than the three days would allow me to ever complete. Met some wonderful quilters and had lots of fun. We laughed a whole lot.
Christy, the owner, is very accommodating and provides a small fabric shop in the event you forgot something or find something you NEED to take home with you.
Wanted to share with all of you because I had so much fun and would love for all quilters whether beginner or professional to know such a wonderful place exists. You can Google it and see pictures. The group I went with has already scheduled for March!
