    transfer your design by sewing without thread on deli wrap paper and then to your quilt

    I have a featherweight with the original table for it. I just lift my machine out, put a piece of plexiglass over the open area and a light on the floor below it. Then I trace the design onto the fabric with a quilt transfer pencil.

    You could have someone make a small bench with an opening in the center also so that you could set it on top of a table and do it.

    Thought you quilters would like some more ideas for transferring a design.
