It's hard to overstate how much I love Donna Jordan's tutorials. She clearly describes what she's doing without over-explaining. This tree skirt is yet another of her wonderful projects. I should say I've made a very similar tree skirt with single diamonds for each point and then pieced squares, so basically swap her multi-piece diamonds and single-piece squares with single-pieced diamonds and multi-pieced squares....another idea if you don't feel like piecing all those diamonds.
