    You can pounce with an old sock and talcum powder or cornstarch. Just put some in the sock and tie the top. I saw a video somewhere (?) that says rub and not just hit it.

    Thanks for the link. I use the Golden Threads paper and trace my design on it and quilt thru it. I like the sticky thing. Wish I had it right now cause i have a design I am working on that could sure use it. Oh well, pins will have to do for now.

    I scored...i went to a thrift shop today and bought 30 quilting templates for 20.00 the prices were all on the templates anywhere from 2.50 to 8.00 yoohoo...now i just need to learn how to use them

    Check out Linda taylors website, Quilting School, she has a couple of demos on how. I believe there are some more, just would have to look in my info file at home and I am not there. If I remember, I will let ya know. QNN.com with Mark Lipinski on the Quilt-IT longarm show, they have a few demos there, but you need to pay for those. Goodgle it, I bet there are some youtube videos that can help. I know, you just have not gotten there yet.
