When did this ad happen? Is it regional?

Great prices...good for Walmart to finally attempt to encourage USA made products to be offered in their stores....I certainly will order some things..........

While I did not see them listed, I recently read on this site about marking a quilt with Crayola Washable markers....so I bought some at JoAnn's with my 40% coupon costing me over $3.00 . Thought I was smart until I saw the very same ones at Wal-Mart for 97 cents!! Sometimes it pays to shop around a bit.

So glad to see made in America products at Walmart, but the products are from a very few manufacturers.

On the same topic: I've always purchased New Balance shoes because they advertised "Made in America", but last week the clerk at the NB store told me only about 40% of the shoes are made in America. So disappointed!

Seems to me that when Sam Walton was alive, the Walmart stores claim to fame was that they tried to buy American made products whenever possible for the store. After he died, we saw a big change in that and in the "tone" of the employees. It's good to see that they are advertising US products again and that there are products being made in the US again. Tough to buy US made items when it seems like not so much is made here anymore. Good that Pellon is on board and hopefully a lot more companies will follow.

PS: I think I just saw some fabric advertised as being made in the US from cotton grown in the US. Cannot remember where that was advertised now.

I am in need of batting, so the timing is perfect for this post. I think I'll give this batting a try.

I guess they got tired of being called "China Mart".
