Walmart in my area just started carrying Waverly fabrics. I bought one yard of a print. The price here was $3.97 yd for solids and prints! If you're getting it for $2.97 yd, you're getting a deal

After the last post I went and looked, and as there had been empty shelves, I had asked the dept manager I am friends with and she said they were getting a lot of new material. It has mostly came in with prints and solids in coordinating colors in many colors by Waverly. When I washed it was fine except a little wrinkled. Will be getting more.

I went and checked out the fabric at the Walmart. And yes I did find Waverly fabric. Some of it was home deco and some of it was kind of shinny and sort of thin. BUT I did find some that had a nice feel. Some were solids and but there was a few prints too. I think like any fabric purchase you need to feel the fabric and then decide what will work for you.

Our Walmart has some beautiful prints. Don't know if they are Waverly, but they are gorgeous and feel like a really great quality. That suits me fine! Walmart use to carry some really chintzy stuff but I won't hesitate to buy these nicer quality fabrics.
