What a world! While you all freeze in ice and snow we have floods, cyclones and heat waves here in Australia. In Sydney the temp was between 39 - 43degrees celsius (approx 102F) while to the south and west torrential rain, remnants of cyclone Yasi, flood over Melbourne and inland cities and towns. Queenslanders are still mopping up and calculating losses from that cyclone! What extremes of weather everywhere! Just stay safe!

I sure hope someone picked up that lonesome dog on the bridge, he looked like he was miserable.

I will take our snow and ice over all the rest. It is funny how someones weather can make you thankful for all that you hate about your own weather.

Thank You for this posting! So many work hard to keep our roads safe. It seems that it is a thankless job. We shovel out and the plow comes around and we curse him for plowing us in. Funny thing is that if all we care about is our drive way none of us will be going to work.

Storms can be good. They put a lot of people to work!

Thought the same thing about that poor dog - surely the photographer took him somewhere. Great pix though.
