Just sent a message. Hope it helps. I've noticed even the public service stations have cut back on sewing and quilting programs. I miss them.

Thanks for sending the web site for HGTV. I emailed them immediately with my request for quilting shows...almost a billion dollar business deserves its programming...so hopefully our input will be considered....memepeggy

HGTV actually 'rebroadcast' programs from DIY network.

I went to the DIY website and even they don't have quilt shows listed. They do have Uncommon Threads and B-Original.

I too was a HGTV fan. Now I rarely watch it.

I sent my request in. I also just chose something from the drop down and in my comments told them I picked that show becasue there were no longer any quilting shows on. It would be great if they do add them back. I know for a while they were on the DIY channel which I do not get. :(

What did you choose from the drop down box as to what this pertains to? I have to choose something or it won't send. There is nothing I see relevant. Help!!
I think something to do with the website, our new website maybe? I just picked the one I thought would get their attention fastest.

Thank you all for doing this. I'd like to see this thread have 57 or more pages to it with all the people who have written. Tell your friends to check it out too because we DO have power and if they don't listen to us, they are shooting themselves in the foot. Make sure when you write that you tell them you won't be watching HGTV until you hear this has changed. I will be watching!!!!

Thanks for the nudge, Nolee - I wrote - please EVERYONE write HGTV ... Quilters Unite !!
I've written them a number of times since they cancelled Simply Quilts and Matt & Shari etc Maybe if we FLOOD them with emails, Programming & Marketing will listen !! How many TACKY decor and real estate shows do they need ? I know I never watch anymore - and it used to be my fav channel
Quilting is a MULTI-BILLION $$$$ industry - and we deserve some good programming !! :)
