    Default Embroidered Patches

Can someone please explain the process of embroidering my own patches? Interested in both fully stitched and applique methods. What stabilizers do I use? What order do I "stack" them? Is it best to have sticky back fusible to attach them, or is hand stitching in place sufficient? Is there a range of # of stitches to embroidery that works best?
I've googled and tried to find a good tutorial, but I'm not getting it. Maybe my brain is just tired today.
Any help or links would be greatly appreciated.
    Karen

Check out Embroidery Library - they usually have helpful hints etc.

Look at page 21 in the workbook for some helpful tips.

    I haven't made patches yet.

Thanks, sewred, I've bookmarked that one. I think it's finally starting to pierce the void
