That happened to my Brother 2500D. It won't go for 6hours non-stop. However, if I let it take a break between designs while I rehoop, etc. It will go longer than I can. Just stop the machine, turn it off and let everything cool down. This is why they have the temperature overload switch in the motor. Just let it do its job.

Hi Everyone. I have a Brother "Simplicity" for about 7 yrs and I am very happy with it. I mostly embroider on baby clothes and quilt squares.

where and how is the customnizer. i didn't get enough info when i bought mine.
Hi, I have the Janome 11,000. Had the 9,000 for 13 yrs, but wanted to be able to do larger designs. I use the Customizer that comes with it for sizing, downloading, etc. It is so much fun, I use it nearly every day. I will take a pic of the shirt I made DH for Christmas and get it on here soon. I like to do pants legs and shirts and quilt blocks. Also love the free standing lace, Embroidery.com has great lace Christmas ornaments. They are so nice to slip in with Christmas cards.

Almond, that happened with my Babylock once. Turns out there was nothing wrong with it at all. I just needed a rest. Sometimes if you use it too much it will freeze up. Of course I found that out after bringing it in for a check up and shelling out $125 ... *sigh* ... fingers crossed for you!

I have a Janome MB-4, and I love it. I would like to get a hat hoop, but it is just way too rich for my blood!
