Love the "clothesline" design...where did you get it? Think I just might NEED it too!

emblibary.com normally has them under their freebees. I have several different ones.

I love their clothesline designs. I don't think I saw that one ... off to hunt!

I have a Janome MC9000 which I dearly love for everything, but I must confess I don't do much with the embroidery. I have a bunch of the cards, mostly flowers and things, but not a lot of variety. I do use the one that has quilting designs - of course they are pretty small, but they are good to use for quilting small blocks. Probably would use it more if I had more of the cards, but they are $50 each, usually.

What a great thread this is, I have found so many new places to find embroidery designs. Thanks everyone.

    Default clothing labels

Some time ago I posted about making labels. Since then, I've experimented and made some discoveries that may help someone else along the way. I started with the paper backed, sticky, tear away stabilizer which worked nicely. I made needle marks for the boundaries of the labels, cut out the paper, and for each subsequent label I cut a little piece of stabilizer and stick on the window. Saves tremendously on the stabilizer. I use white embroidery thread in the bobbin so it's not quite so heavy. I found a source for cotton twill tape that comes on a 72 yard roll and is extremely cheap per label. My latest discovery is a paper backed sticky water soluble stabilizer from Sulky. It seems to be stickier than the tear away so holds better during stitch out, and the rinse out is awesome. Certainly cuts the time. And best of all, 50% off at JoAnn's. thanks to everyone for all your suggestions. Love it!

Looked at the 11000 today and was very interested. How do you like yours and what would you change about it.

    "Happy Dance"

My daughter just called me and said that she got me registered
to attend the Floriani Seminar in August. This is what I requested
for my birthday, and for the past week she had been playing phone
tag with them trying to get me registered.

I am so excited and can't wait.
