Wow! Thank you, Mermaid. I kind of figured that AHEAD didn't manufacture it, but was stumped as to what else to look for.

THX OurWorkbench--I forgot to add info re the manuals. The service manual can come in handy as I've dived into the innards (timing) a couple of times. A friend saw in progress and went OMG!! Here are pix of machine and ''innards''.

First of all let me welcome you to the QB. It looks like you may have already found the answer to your question about your machine. Adding pictures here can be tricky. I am sure you will master it.
