Lovely, it will look like a tapestry when you are done.

Moving along I have finished all 16 panels and have started on the upright tribal borders. These have a 20 min stitch time but take 3/4 Hr to run with color changes. There are 21 of these and I prefer to run them off in a row to save some 60grm stabilizer and Vlieseline H640 packing..see pic just being rehooped for the next 2..I could fit 3 in the hoop at a time. but it doesn't allow for any error..not worth the worry, would rather have extra to trim off than struggle with 3/16-inch seams

So beautiful! What a great project!

Have a few of the short tribal borders to do. approx eight or so but I will do extras short and long, as I always will stuff something up when assembling it.

Looks like a wonderful project. You are inspiring me to get back into some embroidery! Years ago, I did quite a bit of it. I put embroidery on bags, on sweatshirts, on quilts, and made a lot of free-standing lace bookmarks and snowflakes for tree ornaments. I have lots of designs. I don't know how many of them I can still use with my new machine. I wish I had a dealer who knows about how to do embroidery. My dealer sells Janome's and Vikings but only offers most classes for the Janome's. I just find it easier to learn in a class but I do have an embroidery workbook for this machine and there are video's online.

Hi sewingpup You can change any of your files to the desired file format with software available free online and any of your files will still stitch out on any machine..some of the colors won't register the same but this is what the software does from each of its providers. Get someone to show you and help achieve your ambitions..There are lots of solutions on youtube to show you how to work through the software and change your files Good luck Zoo

The picture embroidery is finished . The next stage is to combine the the three color background into six rows so I can assemble the Black tribal strips to separate them

Hi Moving along I have partly assembled the rear of this quilt. Have used the front color texture which is all separate pieces assembled as Anita Goodesign does with their jelly roll assembly, it will have a tri-color of animal skin through the center and around the full border, the center will have animal motives to break up the design.
