My son said the same thing to me back in the 80's. And he also said I see a policeman and I don't want to go to jail. Makes me laugh to think about it.

Today, I got that in regards to the quilting I was doing.

I was quilting and hadn't thought to eat all day. I was reminded when I started to get dizzy. So, I got up to get some low fat frozen yogurt to keep in my dieting and to stave off the hot flashes that have plagued me all morning. Two minutes later, my 8 year old DD came in for some help and saw me sucking on a semi-frozen spoon. She looked around and saw the semi-finished quilt only about 5 feet from me. She looked at me sternly and said, "But I thought we weren't supposed to bring food within 10 feet of the quilts or the sewing machine!" Whooops!
when you get that dizzy, check your sugars, and eat PROTEIN..like peanut butter or cheese..not frozen yogurt..shame on you...heheheh
 I know, I know. These are the things I tell my kids and DH but somehow always forget when it comes to me. I'm a big fan of the spoonful of peanut butter but couldn't find the jar. Later, I found out that the girls had taken it to the schoolroom (we homeschool) to coat the inside of homemade bird houses.

That's wonderful that she has been paying attention to what you say. You should be so proud. You did tell her that she was absolutely right didn't you? LOL

PS. As quilters we only need two things in life. Fabric and food occasionly. Remember to take time to eat. Low blood sugar is dangerous.
