"Carry Along" Project?

Sorry, I don't like doing applique. It's the A word for me. However, I do love applique quilts! Just won't be mine!! (LOL) Anyways when traveling I take along cross stitch, embroidery, knitting or crocheting. Depends on what project needs to be done next.

Me too. GFG. The top is almost done and the hand quilting will begin soon. Then I start another carry along project. My next one is redwork. I love having something with me when I'm away from home.

I'm doing an apple core quilt as my current carry-along project. I've done them before. I just can't machine sew these without every other one getting a pucker, so I stick with hand sew for this.
Usually I do crocheting or knitting, but I got tennis elbow and both of those crafts have been on hold. A new needle threader makes it much easier to thread my needle away from home in all kinds of lighting.
