How wonderful. I wonder if I get it on Dish. Going to check. I don't watch much TV but this I would enjoy.

we get it as one section of our VT PBS - but they have a lot more cooking shows than crafts, at least when I am watching. That's OK, I love Lidia's Italy - whenever that is on, I tell DH - you know what we are having for dinner tomorrow!!

Create is one of the "extra" channels on PBS stations. We get it through our antenna (we don't have dish or cable). I got all excited and went to check, but our local Alabama PBS station is not on the air at the moment. Our local Florida PBS has state legislature stuff during the day on Sat. on 23.3 and the Create channel doesn't come on until 5:00. Guess I'll have to get everything done by 5:00 and then stay up half the night watching. Grrrr!

During the week they have a variety of shows...cooking, painting, travel, sewing, etc. The quilting/sewing ones come on at 5:00 am and pm and at 11:00 am and pm. They are on a 6 hour cycle, so the same shows are on four times each day. Saturdays are different, they pick a theme and have that theme going all day long.

I have DirectTV in Rose City, MI. I wrote to ask if they will be broadcasting via satellite in the near future. I'll let you know what I found out.
