I wouldn't be so quick to blame the dealer on this one. It is possible that someone bought the machine, registered it, and then returned it for a refund. It may never have been used, but if they didn't inform the dealer, the dealer would consider it new.
I'm glad that they are making it right for you.

Sounds like a reputable dealer who stands by their customer. Mistakes happen and they're making it right. I would be a tad annoyed, but no one is perfect.

I'm glad they are fixing it for you. I bought my 870 from a very trustworthy friend. I absolutely love it! I do have some occassional issues with it, but I joined a Yahoo group for the Sapphires and the things I've learned there are priceless. They seem to be able to solve almost anything! I would be annoyed as well but then feeling lucky when they offered to send a new one! I love taking a new machine out of the box! Nothing like it in the world, except for pulling a brand new car off the lot, but I've never had one of those!

I know you are very upset, and rightly so :D but I am so happy to hear that this dealer is willing to go the distance to make it right :D:D:D
