    Good morning all!
I am very excited to report that I am getting my "New to Me" Brother 1500S and HQ2 delivered today!

Any words of wisdom from anyone that has this set up? It would be greatly appreciated.

Also, do you put the foot down to quilt and put the feed dogs down as well? Ive searched on this board and have seen it done both ways.

I will take pictures when ever we get it set up so I can share with everyone. I am SO EXCITED.

    Wendy

Thanks ladies! I keep looking out the door for the "big brown truck" hahaha

    Short-n-sweet, HQ2 is a Handi Quilter 2 frame.

Yep, pressure foot down (otherwise you will get a nest of thread, this is what puts tension on your upper thread) and probably feed dogs down with this set up. When working on a frame these 2 things are the general rule.

    Good luck and share pictures!
