    Just wondering what the difference is -- why does JoAnn's have a section marked "quilting fabric" - isn't it all the same (as other 100% cotton fabric)?

    Some 100% cottons can be way thinner or way thicker than what is typically used in quilting :wink:

    Plus, they can probably charge more for "quilting" fabrics, just because it's named as such :shock:
