Good morning everyone... it warms my heart to read your comments! And I hadn't thought of framing this little, precious scrap of paper, but I'm definitely going to do just that. And the idea of matting it with little scraps of fabric... perfect. I'll use some of Momma's fabric scraps! She was a wonderful woman... I thank God every day for His gift of her love.

I agree, especially since it was in your Mother's handwriting!

The saying is wonderful, but the best part is of the story is that the note is in your mother's handwriting. I too would have it framed for your sewing room.

My hushand use to ask that perpetual question Why buy more when you have 1/2 of JoAnns already. I use to tell him They are waiting for the rest of the fabrics to make the right quilt that this was the waiting room and I always got the same head shake of his confusion and promptly told him how lucky he was that I only had 2 fetishes Fabric and Shoes and they were both way cheaper than Diamonds and Pearls Thru the years I quit buying fancy shoes now I use that money to buy more Fabric :D :D

I have never heard that before. Thank you for sharing! I agree, frame that piece of paper. You will enjoy having it where you can have a remembrance of your Mom close by you.
