I don't usually 'do' yard sales, but an elderly lady from church had an estate sale, so I ckd. it out.
This is definately not like some "finds" I've seen on here, but felt a little lucky this A.M. to get these pieces of fabric. Especially since I have a 'purple' themed lap quilt in mind for Christmas.
Not sure what I'll do w/the flag fabric, but it was part of the deal - any suggestions??? :?:
Have a blessed week end.

Your knew what to buy when you saw it. Blues and purples are my favorite colors. As far as the patriotic fabric, there are so many things you can do with it. A pieced table runner for the 4th of Julyh, or some placemats, or you can even do something for those who are serving or country in far lands and send it to them with a thoughtful note.
Enjoy what you bought.

love that purple FQ!
I could see the flag fabric in Pinwheels for a 4th july table topper.
The flags are so small, there realy isn't anything you couldnt do with it. The print and "style" is not over powering, will blend right in where ever you use it.

how about something for next 4th of July? Table runner or part of a lap quilt or a cloth for your picnic table? Maybe even some 'mug rugs' to give away as gifts to someone with a red, white and blue theme?
